And you know that feeling when you’re Googling something and a result with exactly the same keywords pops up? You feel like that result has precisely what you’re looking for, right?

As a bonus, if you do it right, this tactic will help you network and build your brand.

Forums offer a great opportunity to post links to your blog and get really relevant traffic.
Plus, most of them have dofollow links. That means that,unlike social media links, forum backlinks can actually improve your blog’s SEO ranking.

#2: Read the forum rules before you post:
Some forums have very detailed posting rules, while others are more laid back. Either way, set yourself up for success by getting familiar with the guidelines before posting.
#3. Give more than you take:
People often fail at using forums to grow their blogs because they don’t give enough. Forums are made up of tight-knit communities that won’t appreciate a newbie butting in just for self-promotion.

You’re going to see a bunch of forums in your niche, as in the results above.
Now, go through these results and check for quality. Are there plenty of members? Is there a lot of recent interaction?
Those are the kinds of forums that will help you successfully grow your blog.

After all, you need a good amount of traffic and engagement to build a profitable, thriving blog.
